The North Texas Green Council was formed in 2002 by 12 individuals joining forces to pursue a stronger and more sustainable building practice in North Texas. We are now more than 900 members and serve as the premier resource for information and education on sustainable practices in our region.

KEVIN ROGERS / EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, CHAIR

Kevin Rogers is currently the Project Manager for the Urban Living Laboratory, being developed by Realty Appreciation, LTD., in a public-private partnership with the Texas A&M University System.  His responsibilities include the overall project vision, integrated design-construction methods, LEED Green Building Certifications, and Sustainable Program Development.  Mr. Rogers graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He received his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from California State University and his law degree from Ventura College of Law.

KIRK JOHNSON / EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, VICE CHAIR

R. Kirk Johnson, AIA, LEED AP is an Associate at Corgan Associates coordinating numerous sustainability efforts within a flourishing international architectural practice. He is the Editor of the USGBC North Texas Chapter magazine and serves on the Chapter Governance Committee. He has worked on numerous prominent architectural projects throughout his professional career, lectures frequently on sustainable design implementation strategies, and has authored many articles promoting green construction practices. His current research concentrates upon integrating building design tools and optimizing energy performance.

RACHAEL GREEN / EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, SECRETARY

Rachael Green, LEED AP BD+C and GGP is an Associate at Huitt-Zollars Dallas. She is also a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Texas and New Mexico with over 15 years of design and construction experience. She has been involved with several LEED projects and consults with local municipalities and government agencies to create and implement sustainability guidelines. Rachael is actively involved in community outreach and education of the LEED Rating System.

BILL MOEBIUS / EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, TREASURER

Bill Moebius is Senior Vice President and Director of Energy and Sustainable Operations for Stream Realty Partners. Bill served in the U.S. Navy for four years as a navigation officer. He has a BA from Rice University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Bill is a member of the Board of Directors of the USGBC North Texas Chapter and Past President for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Southwest Region and BOMA Dallas. Bill works to incorporate energy efficiency and sustainability overall throughout Stream Realty’s portfolio and for certain outside clients.

Hugh Cronin / DIRECTOR AND CHAIR, WEST TEXAS BRANCH

Hugh Cronin, CPC, PMP, LEED AP BD+C, joined Facilities Planning & Construction, Texas Tech University System, as the Senior Director of Project Administration in 2010 after serving as a Project Manager and Owner’s Representative for Broaddus & Associates. He retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers in 2008. His military service included more than 20 years of mine/countermine, explosives, maintenance and construction experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Management, a Master of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University.

BETH BRANT / DIRECTOR

Beth Brant, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is Project Architect and Director of Sustainability with Brown Reynolds Watford Architects and has been involved with the Chapter since 2005. Beth is also a part of the Dallas AIA Committee on the Environment and always enjoys the opportunity to teach practical sustainable design and construction principles in her every day practice. She has served as project administrator on many LEED projects and continues to stay educated on innovative technical aspects of design as well the most current sustainable building programs and standards.

ERIC CLAYCAMP / DIRECTOR

Eric Claycamp brings a distinguished career of design excellence to the USGBC North Texas Chapter. An associate principal at Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford since 2008, Eric has served as the  firm’s LEED consultant since 2002. He is not only an architect and registered interior designer, Eric is also one of the most experienced LEED accredited professionals in the Southwest. As an advocate and expert in sustainable development, Eric often speaks at major universities about the importance of Green design.

TOM HALE / DIRECTOR

Tom Hale, LEED AP BD+C, has been in the managerial phase of construction for 38 years with an emphasis on higher education, healthcare and performance venues. Tom has served as Linbeck’s special projects senior manager for 17 years. He has been instrumental in the success of Linbeck’s client development, preconstruction and BIM initiatives as well as Linbeck’s sustainable programs. Tom received his LEED accreditation in 2006 and has been involved in the certification of numerous projects including a Build America Award winner, TCU’s Admission Center. Tom’s LEED certification efforts include two Gold and two Silver projects, as well as two pending certifications with special attention given to obtaining exemplary performance of construction points.

KEITH LINDEMULDER / DIRECTOR

Keith Lindemulder, LEED AP, is the Business Development Manager for NUCONSTEEL, a Nucor Company.  Keith has nearly 30 years of experience in the cold-formed steel and building component industries working on projects ranging from single-family homes to high-rise. Keith is also a board member of the Structural Building Component Association (SBCA) representing Cold-Formed Steel Component Suppliers and is the current Building Committee Chair for Habitat for Humanity of Denton County.  Keith works to promote the use of recycled steel and building components as a regular part of sustainable building design and construction.  He graduated from Ferris State University with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1986.

JOAN MEEKS / DIRECTOR

Joan is a founding partner of EWD (Ewaste Disposal) located in Dallas. She has over 10 years experience in  commerical construction in which she witnessed first hand the large waste being sent to landfills; waste which easily could have been recycled, reused or repurposed.  Witnessing this Joan became involved with the North Texas chapter focusing on the benefits of LEED projects. As a board of director for the North Texas Chapter she is actively involved with sustainability and the liasion for the membership committee. With regards to waste, Joan is also on the board of directors for Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB), in which she actively promotes and participates in KTB’s mission for waste reduction.  Joan has over 20 years of executive management experience.

THOM POWELL / DIRECTOR

Thom Powell is the Director of Sustainable Design with Good Fulton & Farrell Architects, chair of the AIA Dallas Committee on the Environment (COTE) and chair of the AIA Dallas Committee on Design. Thom has extensive experience in large and complex, high-profile architectural projects, ranging from institutional to commercial. Throughout his career, he has consistently developed strong client relationships due to his collaborative nature and his ability to coordinate difficult issues and opposing viewpoints fosters teamwork in each project.

JEFF SANDERS / DIRECTOR

Mr. Sanders is a Senior Vice President with Hill & Wilkinson General Contractors in Richardson, Texas. Starting with an internship 21 years ago, Jeff currently oversees the Preconstruction, Business Development, LEED, BIM, and Design Build efforts of the firm.  Jeff was raised in Fairbanks, Alaska and received a degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and currently resides in Rockwall, Texas.

DAVID TREVINO / DIRECTOR

David Trevino is a registered architect with over 25 years of experience in design, construction and contracting. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture degree from the Texas A&M University, College Station. David has been with the City of Dallas for over10 years, where he serves as Senior Program Manager of Facilities Planning and Design and Construction in the Department of Public Works and Transportation. Prior to joining the City of Dallas, David was in private practice for more than 20 years as a partner and owner of both an architectural firm and a construction company.
