GREEN ADVANTAGE WORKSHOP


Addressing the theory and practice of green building & LEED®

 

AIA/CES/LEED Continuing Education and Green Associate Exam Qualification

 

The training consists of a full day (9 hour) workshop presented by highly experienced trainers representing the construction/contracting perspective and/or the architectural/design perspective. You will engage in a range of interactive activities and discussions that address both the theory and practice of green building and LEED®. The course addresses the many roles of the contractor throughout the building process, using LEED® as a guideline. Become a valuable team member to building green buildings that are enviornmentally responsible, sustainable, resource efficient, and cost effective.

 

Early registration fee (closes March 8): $370

This course meets the eligibility requirements of the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) to qualify for taking the LEED® Green Associate Exam.

 

This course has been recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council's Educational Provider Program and contributes to the requirements for continuing education necessary to maintain LEED®  AP (accredited professional) status.

 

This course is registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) CES provider program.  Completion of this course qualifies you for eight (8) continuting education units of study, four (4) in Health & Safety, and four (4) in Sustainability.  No certification exam is required.
