ADMINISTRATION

The Administration component of the Board of Operations coordinates various North Texas Green Council membership, volunteer, and financial activities.  The team is managed by the Commissioner of Administration and is comprised of three primary committees delineated below.  The following descriptions provide additional information regarding the specific committees, preferred skills for participation, and opportunities to communicate sustainable green building practices to others.
Commissioners of Administration: Christi Redfearn & Dee Cassell

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

The Membership Committee coordinates new member records, recruitment, orientation, and benefits.  As such, the group strives to increase membership participation and elevate membership opportunities.  Committee members are professionals who volunteer their time to help educate the public regarding sustainable design issues and lifestyles. Our goal is to promote the growth and mission of the North Texas Chapter and the U.S. Green Building Council in addition to having fun doing this.   A few of the skills requested for participation are included below.

VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE

The Volunteer Committee coordinates volunteers for the various North Texas Green Council events administered throughout the year.  We are always looking for people eager to help with the administration of these events.   A few of the skills requested for participation are included below.

• Act as an Chapter ambassador

FINANCE COMMITTEE

The Finance Committee, working in conjunction with the Board of Directors and the Executive Director, is responsible for managing, maintaining, and auditing the finances of the Chapter. This includes being involved with fund raising, cash flow management, income & expense management plus budgeting and growth management.  A few of the skills requested for participation are included below.

• Exceptional integrity
• Experience with Fund Raising
• Working knowledge of Corporate Budgets
• Experience with Cash Flow Management
