Green Code Updates - An Overview of ASHRAE 189.1-2011 and the 2012 IgCC - 1 HSW/SD

This session will provide an overview of two baseline regulatory policy options. ASHRAE Standard 189.1-2011m produced by the USGBC, ASHRAE and IESNA, is the comprehensive green building standard developed in model code language; it provides minimum mandatory requirements for high-performance, green buildings and complements green building rating systems.

4/12 USGBC Energy Summit

The 2012 USGBC Energy Summit brings together participants and stakeholders from the existing commercial office property sector to share ideas, technologies and services that will improve the energy efficiency and energy related decision making for commercial office properties today and in the future. The summit provides an opportunity for education and a forum to share expertise and best practices amongst building and facility managers and engineers. Building managers, facility engineers, operators, building owners, and building support such as engineers, architects, and service partners are all invited to attend and not only learn from others but to share your experience and expertise. This year the addition of the Energy Technology Expo will provide the opportunity to learn about the newest technologies and services in person. A series of education sessions, panels and speakers will provide incredible insight and value for all those with an interest in energy.
