Citigroup’s regional office complex in Irving, Texas consolidated more than 1.3 million square feet of office space, previously located in 14 buildings, into nearly 1 million square feet in seven buildings on two sites—Las Colinas and Regent Center. The structures feature sustainable design elements including low-E glass to reduce energy costs, and a PVC roof system and light-colored pavement to reduce heat island effect. The facilities incorporate indigenous landscaping and reduced potable water use for irrigation, low-VOC content interior materials and local materials with recycled content.
